Music Life: Internet celebrity band promotes local tourism
A band in southwest China has shot to fame on the Internet with its music videos at local scenic spots. Our reporter Guo Tianqi joined one of the shoots to find out more.
Blue sky and forests, white shirts fluttering in the wind. These are the most distinctive features of the short video of the band Troika. Since they started releasing their videos in September last year, they have attracted nearly two million fans, and one video has been watched 35 million times.

This is the famous Longan Park in Luzhou, with more than 15 thousand longan trees over 100 years old. It also carries the memories of early days of the Troika band. And almost all of the band's most hit videos were recorded here.

The producer of the short video is Yi Chao, the son of saxophonist Yi Xianming. He studied piano at university and chooses and arranges music for the band. At first, he made the short video because he wanted to use music to convey the sincere friendship and love for life among his father's generation. However, after going viral online, he has bigger plans in the future.
